St. Jude Knanaya Catholic Proposed Mission
About Us
St. Jude Knanaya Proposed mission was established in 2018, inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Saji Malayilputhenpura. This mission encompasses the faithful from Coventry, Kettering, Northampton, Leicester, and Oxford. Rev. Fr. Philip Kuzhiparambil was the first priest in charge of St. Jude Mission followed by Fr. Mathew Kannalayil. Currently, Fr. Jinse Kandakatt is the priest in charge of St. Jude Mission. Initially two Holy Masses in Coventry were held on the second and fourth Sundays followed by Catechism. Today there are four masses centers – in Leicester, Coventry, Kettering, and Oxford at each mass centre catechism has active participation. More than 300 faithful families are part of St. Jude Knanaya proposed mission. At present Jijo Mannakunel and Vinod Ottaplakan are the trustees of this mission, Zachariah Puthenkalam is the accountant, the catechism coordinators are Nisha Taj , Bincy Jose and Bindu Makil respectively in Coventry , Leicester and Kettering and Geena Zachariah is the pastoral council member. The main feast of St. Jude is celebrated on the last week of October after nine days of novena and rosary. This mission also celebrates the feast of St. Joseph , Sacred Heart, St. Sebastian, St. George and St. John Nepomucene.

4th Saturday Mass in St. Joseph the Worker RC Church Banbury at 10.00am
