Pre Marriage Course- October 2025

The third ‘Pre Marriage course’ of 2025 took place on 16, 17 & 18th of October at Savio House in Macclesfield. There were 48 young people who took part in this Marriage preparation course from various parts of the UK.

There were various useful topics dicussed like the Theology of Marriage. Knanya Wedding customs, Hitches of married life, Sexuality in married life, Future of Knanaya community & Relationship based parenting and many more. All of these topics are delivered through Powerpoints, videos, debates, Question answer sessions, group discussions based on scenarios etc. Along with classes, there was Holy Mass, confession, adoration & rosary each day. A team of 12 dedicated fecilitators under the leadership of Fr Jinse Kandakkatt & Deacon Anil Lukose along with our Knanaya priests deliver these useful sessions to our ‘would be couple’s. At the end of all the sessions, the youth are given opportunities to give their feedback about the course and based on the feedback, the resource team make amendments for the future to improve it further.

Every year three sessions are held to prepare our youngsters for a blessed married life in February, June & October and these sessions are well attended. Below are the testimonies provided by 4 youngsters who attended the ‘Pre Mrriage course’ in October 2025.
